The corrugated fingerless single facer is the primary equipment for the production of corrugated boxes. The quality of the semi-finished corrugated cardboard produced by the corrugated fingerless single facer directly affects the production cost of the carton, and the base paper is the main material for the production of the carton. The production cost of the carton is about 75%. From raw materials, if the corrugated fingerless single facer produces unqualified or defective corrugated cardboard, it means waste of raw paper and other materials, increased production costs, and decreased production profits.

In the current carton industry is generally in the harsh market environment of low profit, the production technology of the corrugated fingerless single facer is well controlled, and the performance and operation technology of the equipment are well controlled. It is self-evident to control the quality of raw materials, prevent the occurrence of quality problems, and increase the rate of corrugated fingerless single facer semi-finished products.
When the corrugated base paper passes through the corrugated roll, the high-speed rotation of the corrugated roll has centrifugal effect, which easily causes the corrugated base paper to separate from the corrugated roll. In order to prevent the corrugated paper from being thrown out, but also to maintain a tight fit with the corrugated roller, this can be achieved by using a paper guide sheet or a vacuum suction device.
The paper guide is generally phosphor bronze wear-resistant material, which plays a certain role in guaranteeing the bonding quality of corrugated cardboard. Therefore, the installation position of the paper guide must be correct, it is installed on a beam. The distance between the paper guide and the paper guide must be consistent with the paper guide grooves on the upper corrugated roller and the glue roller.
The gap between the paper guide and the lower corrugated roller should be appropriate, generally within 0.5 mm. If the gap is too small, the width of the dry stripe will increase; if the gap is too large, the corrugated paper will jump and cause poor adhesion. Improper gaps will cause the corrugated paper to be squeezed and rubbed, which will affect the quality of the corrugated paper. The worn and deformed paper guides should be replaced in good time.
At present, the more advanced corrugated fingerless single facer does not use a paper guide sheet, but uses a vacuum adsorption method to completely attach the corrugated paper to the lower corrugated roller. It can overcome the shortcomings of the conductive paper sheet, so that the corrugated peak can be uniformly applied. The amount of glue is more conducive to improving the quality of corrugated cardboard.
