The current problems of the domestic packaging industry have been summarized in the following three points:

1. Disorderly competition in the packaging industry hinders the progress of the industry, and business ‘innovation’ makes itself into a misunderstanding. As far as the corrugated packaging industry is concerned, China’s unique brand-new cooperation method of'centralized board making and decentralized box making' has been touted by mainstream media and industry experts in the past few years. Some large-scale and powerful packaging companies have reduced profits and competition. Intense and sad withdrawal or lingering, thus hindering industry restructuring and industrial upgrading.

2. Packaging machinery has always imitated, never surpassed. Packaging machinery, especially the corrugated packaging industry, is nothing more than imitating and copying from stand-alone machines to single-sided machines to large-scale production lines. The appearance is similar, but the internal quality is always the weakness of domestic equipment. The price-performance ratio of domestically-made equipment meets the requirements of most customers, but the high-end models have always given way to Europe and America, and the originality is even worse. We all have this experience. Many of the German'Roland' or'Heidelberg' printing presses from the 1950s and 1960s were still used in carton factories. What is worthy of respect is that the main components are still intact and the failure rate is very low. Compared with the experience of continuous maintenance during the warranty period of domestic equipment, it is much more comfortable.

3. The untimely adjustment of national industrial policies and standards and the low level have become the shackles that restrict the development of the industry. For example, the industry standard GB/T6544-86 "Corrugated Board" for corrugated packaging has not changed since it was promulgated in 1986. In the context of rapid technological progress and continuous industry innovation in recent years, the old national standard has seriously failed to meet the development requirements of the industry. , And seriously lags behind the existing general technical level of society. The voices of the people asking for the improvement of industry standards are increasing day by day. National standards have become obstacles restricting the development of the industry. The country hastily introduced a set of new national standards in 2008 due to this form. That is, GB/T6544-2008, although some of the existing technology is summarized in the new standard, the national standard as the industry benchmark is still somewhat sad. Take a look at how the European Union guides technological progress. Take the automotive industry as an example. The European Union closely tracks the latest technology in the industry from Euro I to Euro II and to Euro IV, and has formulated a set before the latest technology in the industry is fully popularized. Strict emission standards have ordered enterprises and private innovations, so it has given birth to the European Union's technological leadership, and has also formed the unique phenomenon of the European Union's export of standards to the world.
